Big Brothers Bigs Sisters of East Tennessee

Doug Kose was the Chief Executive Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East TN for five years and ran the agency as a business with a non-profit mission. BBBS had unprecedented success by serving 800-900 children on an annual basis; added a third core program, Mentor 2.0; launched a scholarship endowment for students that graduate high school; won national awards four out of five years including the Pinnacle Award, which less than 1% of 300 agencies are able to achieve. Additionally, the agency financially grew a minimum of 15% each year to become a $1.3 million annual revenue producer. The agency was also a recipient of the Gold Standard Award in 2016 for outstanding program and financial stewardship.

The company supports Big Brothers Big Sisters annual events, Bowl For Kids’ Sake and Cash For Kids Sake. Additionally, the business supports the Wesley House and Emerald Youth Organization, two other great youth serving non-profits in Knoxville.
